Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Chongqing
Explore Ciqikou, Hongyadong. Evening hotpot dinner. Board your Yangtze cruise ship.
Day 2: Shibaozhai
Morning departure from Chongqing. Afternoon shore excursion to ShibaoZhai — a 12-story wooden pagoda clinging to a cliff. Captain's welcome dinner.
Day 3: Qutang & Wuxia Gorges
Sail through Qutang Gorge (8 km, most dramatic). Wuxia Gorge — 12 peaks rising from the mist. Small boat excursion up Shennong Stream. Pass through the 5-stage ship locks.
Day 4: Three Gorges Dam
Visit the Three Gorges Dam — the world's largest hydroelectric project. Disembark in Yichang. Transfer to Yichang airport/train for departure.
