Five Flower Lake

Panda Lake
Named after the pandas that come to drink here. Surrounded by bamboo forests, the water is an incredible shade of deep blue.
Long Lake
The largest and deepest lake in Jiuzhaigou, fed by snowmelt from surrounding peaks. The water appears a deep sapphire blue.
Shuzheng Valley
A scenic valley with a series of lakes and waterfalls connected by wooden boardwalks — perfect for easy walking.
Tibetan Villages
Nine Tibetan villages dot the valley. Visit Shuzheng or Zechawa for traditional architecture and prayer flags.

October (peak autumn colors), or June-August for lush greenery. Winter offers frozen waterfalls.
Transportation
Fly to Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport from Chengdu/Beijing/Xian, then 1.5h bus. Alternatively bus from Chengdu (7h).
