March–November. Miao New Year (usually November) is spectacular. Summers are rainy but the waterfalls are at their most powerful.
Transportation
Guiyang is the air/rail hub. High-speed trains connect Guiyang to Kaili (Miao villages, 40 min). Guangxi-Guiyang high-speed rail serves the south.
