 | The Terracotta Warriors and Horses is one of the most important archaeological finds with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation in the world. They are the largest pottery figurine group ever unearthed in China. The museum covers an area of 16,300 square meters, divided into three sections: No. 1 Pit, No. 2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit respectively.  | Covering an area of over 70,000 square meters, the museum contains more than 370,000 relics including Bronze wares, terra cotta figures, gold and silver wares and murals from three thousand years ago.  | For centuries, Huaqing Hot Springs functioned as a place for retreat and bath. There are numerous classical style buildings at the site and many murals decorate the walls. 35 kilometers east of the city of Xian, it was known as Huaqing Palace and also had the name "Huaqing Pool" because of its location over the hot springs. In Tang Dynasty, Emperor Tai Zong ordered the construction of Hot Springs Palace, and Emperor XuanZong had walled palace in the year 747 which was known as Huaqing Palace. |
