Named by former Chinese Premier, the ship is a joint venture of China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Ltd., one of the largest travel group, who also owns a same name theme park in Tampa, Florida, and Hubei Yangtze Cruise Corp Ltd., who was a pioneer in the cruising business on Yangtze River. Splendid China has its unique outlook: it is like a traditional ChinesePalace, while incorporates with the most modern passenger conveniences and spaciousness. In the past years, this ship was one of the best sellers on the greatest river in China. It is sailing between Wuhan and Chongqing or Yichang and Chongqing.
