Day 01: Beijing (L)
Depart hotel in the morning, drive about 2.5 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall. First built over 2000 years ago, Mutianyu Great Wall is older, much steeper and more challenging than Badaling Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall has the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall. Our hiking tour will start at the foot of Mutianyu Great wall, hiking along the ancient path at the side of the steps is certainly a more authentic and satisfying way to appreciate the site. After hiking for 3 to 4 hours we will drive back to the hotel downtown.
