    Day-To-Day Itinerary

    Day 01: TBA - Lhasa
    Upon arrival in Lhasa, which is reputed as the "Roof of the World" and the "Third Pole of the Globe". Lhasa offers breathtaking monastery sights, Tibetan Buddhist Culture, colorful ethnic minority custom, which should not be missed! After checking in the hotel, rest in the afternoon to get adapted to the high altitude.

    Potala PalaceDay 02: Lhasa (B+L+D)
    An extraordinary day to experience the unique atmosphere of this holy land. Your visit today will include Potala Palace, the symbol of Tibet, which functioned as the traditional seat of the Tibetan government and the winter residence of the Dalai Lamas, and the Sera Monastery. As the last of the three principal Yellow Sect monasteries to be built in Lhasa, Sera is an important spiritual center for Buddhist monks. Later you also have a chance to pay a visit Tibetan Family.
    For dinner time, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tibetan Dance and Song Show.

    Another day to absorb the unique atmosphere of Lhasa: we will bring you to the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple, and enjoy strolling along the Barkhor Street, where you can buy the handicrafts which are rare to be seen elsewhere in the world from the local Tibetan vendors. After lunch, you will also pay a visit to Drepung Monastery, the largest and the most powerful of the three major Yellow Sect monasteries in Lhasa.

    Day 04:Lhasa - Tsdang (B+L)
    Start in the morning and drive about 1.5 hours to Tsedang, the cradle of Tibetan civilization. Upon arrival at Tsedang, you will have the chance to discover Tibet's first palace- Yumbulhakang Palace. It is said to be built for the first Tibetan king Liancizanpu in 200 B.C.then you pay a visit to Trandruk Monastery, the earliest Tibet temple for worshipping Buddha during the Turfan time.

    Day 05: Tsedang - Samye Temple- Tsedang (B+L)
    Morning tour to one of the very significant Tibetan Buddhist monasteries - Samye Temple.Samye was Tibet's very first monastery and has a history that spans over 1,200 years.Afterwards drive back to Tsedang in the afternoon. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the old town.

    Day 06: Tsedang - TBA (B)
    Our tour guide will transferred you to the airport for your return flight with many wonderful memories.

    How to Get a Visa
    Overseas visitors to Tibet shall process entry formalities upon showing confirmation letters issued by the Tibetan government.

    Passports and Visas: The foreign tourist is granted the entry visa only when he or she holds a valid passport and a letter of visa notification for tour groups issued by a Chinese embassy in a foreign country and confirmed by the Tibetan Tourist Administration.

    Entry Confirmation Letter: Overseas tour groups, those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan included, are allowed to enter Tibet only with a confirmation letter from Tibet Autonomous Region's Tourism Administration. The administration has representative offices in Beijing, Chengdu, Golmud, Shanghai, Xining, Xi'an, Hong Kong, Kathmandu, Japan and the United States to handle group tours.
