    Day-To-Day Itinerary

    Day 01: TBA - Beijing
    Upon arrival in Beijing, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. As the capital of China, Beijing has a long history with an abundance of historical and cultural heritage-you cannot tear yourself away!
    The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

    Great Wall Day 02: Beijing (B+L+D)
    Start your Beijing exploration with first visit to the largest public square in the world: Tiananmen Square. Next, stroll through the largest and the best preserved Imperial Palace in the world: the Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will take a short drive to the Temple of Heaven, which was built specifically for worship of heaven and prayers for good harvests during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
    Enjoy a Beijing Duck Dinner tonight.

    Day 03: Beijing (B+L)
    After breakfast, drive about one hour to Badaling Great Wall, China's most spectacular sight extending more than 3,700 miles across China and most often visited for China tour. It is one of the best preserved sections and the highest point of the Great Wall.
    After lunch you also visit one of the Mind Tombs. Ming Tombs are the general names for the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), located 50 kilometers north from Beijing City. They were fully recognized by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee in 2000.

    Day 04: Beijing Xian (B+L)
    Continue to explore the ancient city including the Hutong Trishaw tour in the morning, and then to the exquisite Summer Palace, which was listed as UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage in 1998. With its elegant overall arrangement, magnificent buildings and attractive scenery, the Summer Palace is the most splendid imperial garden in China built in 1750. Take the afternoon flight to Xian, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.


     Day 05:Xian (B+L+D)
    Enjoy a magnificent day of sightseeing what has been called the 8th Wonder of the World --the Terra Cotta Soldiers Museum, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Altogether over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and even weapons have been unearthed there. After lunch, visit the Bell Tower, which is the most well-preserved and best-known one in China and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China and initially built in 589. Tonight you will enjoy a Tang Dynasty Dinner Show and Dumpling Banquet.

    Day 06: Xian (B+L)
    Today the first stop in this pleasant city is Shanxi Provincial Museum showing you more than 370,000 relics including Bronze wares, terra cotta figures, gold and silver wares and murals with three thousand years. And next is the Great Mosque. One of five Muslim sanctuaries in China, the Great Mosque in Xian is the only one open to visitors. Also enjoy strolling along the Ancient City Wall considered as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

    Day 07: Xi'an - Dunhuang (B+L)
    Take a morning flight to Dunhuang. As an important strategic point on the Silk Road, Dunhuang has abundant historical sites and cultural heritage. Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you and escort you to begin our journey to the Echoing-Sand Mountain (Mingshashan), one of the wonders in Dunhuang City. Then a take a camel ride to the Crescent Moon Lake.
    Silk Road Tour Day 08: Dunhuang-Turpan (B+L)

    Today's excursion will bring you to the Mogao Caves. Praised as "a glittering pearl that adorns the Silk Road", Mogao Caves are the most famous grottoes in China. Then visit White Horse Pagoda, the first Buddhist temple in China. White Horse Pagoda was built in order to pay their respect to those monks who had dedicated their life to the spreading of Buddhism. Afterwards drive to the train station to take an overnight soft sleeper train to Turpan.

    Day 09: Turpan (B+L)
    Upon arrival in Turpan in the morning, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. After a little break, you will start the day with a visit to the Jiaohe Ruins, the best preserved town ruin in China initially built about 2000 years ago. After lunch, also pay a visit to the Karez Well, which is an underground irrigation system that was installed 2,000 years ago. Then you proceed to the Emin Minaret (Sugong Pagoda), the largest Muslim tower in Xinjiang region.

    Day 10: Turpan - Urumqi (B+L)
    Continue your Turpan exploration with visits the Gaochang Ruins, the ancient walled capital of the Uighurs which flourished between the 7th century and 14th century. The next stop is the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves. After lunch, proceed to the Flaming Hill, one of the hottest places on earth. Then drive to Urumqi, the last stop on our westward journey along the Silk Road.
    Day 11: Urumqi- Kashgar (B+L)
    In the morning drive about 115 km to Heavenly Lake (Tian Chi), which is renowned as one of the nicest tour destinations in all of China. Surrounding the Heavenly Lake are snowy mountains, glacier forests and grassland alpine lakes, featuring a vertical natural landscape belt. And then fly to Kashgar.

    Bell TowerDay 12: Kashgar (B+L) Start in the early morning to visit the Karakuli Lake. Karakuli Lake is 3,600 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Maztagata Mountain, some 190 kilometers from Kashgar. It is an unspoiled natural paradise with breath-taking natural scenery. A leisurely walk along the lake is also refreshing and pleasant. After that you will back to Kashgar city.

    Day 13: Kashga (B+L)
    Today you will tour the largest mosque in China-the Id Kah mosque, which covers an area of 16,800 square meters.And then is to visit the Abakh Khoia Tomb ( Tomb of Xiangfei), the most magnificent and well-preserved Islamic architectural complex in Xingjiang. First build in 1640, the buildings exhibit Uygur and Arabic architectuaral styles as well as some Buddhist symbols.
    Day 14: Kashagar-Urumqi (B+L) In the morning you enjoy wandering the Kashgar Sunday Bazaar.Througout the streets, tourists can find markets selling various daily-life goods. After that, you will take a flight to Urumqi.

    Day 15: Urumqi- Beijing(B) Take the morning flight to Beijing and the rest of the time is on your own.

    Day 16: Beijing-TBA (B) The tour guide will transfer you to the airport and help you board the plane to your sweet home.
