    Day-To-Day Itinerary

    Day 01 Home - Beijing
    Upon arrival in Beijing, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. As the capital of China, Beijing has a long history with an abundance of historical and cultural heritage-you cannot tear yourself away!
    The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

    Great WallDay 02 Beijing (B/L)
    Start your Beijing exploration with first visit to the largest public square in the world: Tiananmen Square. Next, stroll through the largest and the best preserved Imperial Palace in the world: the Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will take a short drive to the Temple of Heaven, which was built specifically for worship of heaven and prayers for good harvests during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

    Day 03 Beijing (B/L)
    After breakfast, drive about one hour to Badaling Great Wall, China's most spectacular sight extending more than 3,700 miles across China and most often visited for China tour. It is one of the best preserved sections and the highest point of the Great Wall.
    After lunch you also visit one of the Mind Tombs. Ming Tombs are the general names for the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), located 50 kilometers north from Beijing City. They were fully recognized by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee in 2000.
    DunhuangDay 04 Beijing - Dunhuang (B/L)
    Take a morning flight to Dunhuang. As an important strategic point on the Silk Road, Dunhuang has abundant historical sites and cultural heritage. Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you and escort you to begin our journey to the Echoing-Sand Mountain (Mingshashan), one of the wonders in Dunhuang City. Then a take a camel ride to the Crescent Moon Lake.

    Day 05 Dunhuang - Turpan (B/L)
    Today's excursion will bring you to the Mogao Caves. Praised as "a glittering pearl that adorns the Silk Road", Mogao Caves are the most famous grottoes in China. Then visit White Horse Pagoda, the first Buddhist temple in China. Afterwards drive to the train station to take an overnight soft sleeper train to Turpan.

    Day 06 Turpan (B/L)
    Upon arrival in Turpan in the morning, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. After a little break , you will will start the day with a visit to the Jiaohe Ruins, the best preserved town ruin in China initially built about 2000 years ago. After lunch, also pay a visit to the Karez Well, which is an underground irrigation system that was installed 2,000 years ago.


    Day 07 Turpan (B/L)
    Continue your Turpan exploration with visits the Gaochang Ruins, the ancient walled capital of the Uighurs which flourished between the 7th century and 14th century. After lunch, proceed to the Grape Valley and the Flame Mountain, one of the hottest places on earth.

    Day 08 Turpan - Urumqi (B/L)
    Drive to Urumqi by bus. Arrive in Urumqi, the last stop on our westward journey along the Silk Road. Be met & transferred to hotel.

    Day 09 Urumqi - Kashgar (B/L)
    Take the morning flight to Kashgar. At the western end of China's Silk Road, Kashgar has been the stopping-off point for travelers for at least 2,000 years.
    Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

    Day 10 Kashgar - Urumqi (B/L)
    After breakfast, head directly to the Kashgar Sunday Bazaar. Throughout the streets, tourists can find markets selling various daily- life goods. Then you will tour the largest mosque in China - the Id Kah Mosque. Then pay a visit to Abakh Khoia Tomb (Tomb of Xiangfei), the most magnificent and well-preserved Islamic architectural complex in Xinjiang. Take an evening flight to Urumqi. Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.


    Xinjiang MuseumDay 11 Urumqi (B/L)
    After breakfast you will have an excursion to South Pasture where you could visit a local Kazakhs's Family in yurt. In the afternoon visit the Xinjiang Autonomous Region Museum which contains some interesting exhibitions relating to local minority groups.

    Day 12 Urumqi - Chengdu (B/L)
    Take a morning flight to Chengdu. Arrive in Chengdu. Be met & transferred to hotel. First drive to visit the Panda Breeding & Reserve Centre to see Panda who were born in nature. Continue your driving to Sanxingdui, which is recognized as one of the most important ancient remains in the world for its vast size, lengthy period and enriched cultural contents. Drive back to Chengdu.

    LhasaDay 13 Chengdu - Lhasa (B/L)
    Take a morning flight to Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa, a city meaning the "Holy Land" in Tibetan language. Be met & transferred to hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

    Day 14 Lhasa (B/L)
    In the morning, visit the Potala Palace, the symbol of Tibet, which functioned as the traditional seat of the Tibetan government and the winter residence of the Dalai Lamas. After lunch, we will bring you to the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple, and enjoy strolling along the Barkhor Street, where you can buy the handicrafts which are rare to be seen elsewhere in the world from the local Tibetan vendors.

    Day 15 Lhasa - Beijing (B/L)
    Take flight to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel Arrive in Beijing.

    Day 16 Beijing - Home (B)
    Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
