Day-To-Day Itinerary
Day 01: TBA - Beijing Upon arrival in Beijing, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. As the capital of China, Beijing has a long history with an abundance of historical and cultural heritage-you cannot tear yourself away! The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 02: Beijing (B+L+D) Start your Beijing exploration with first visit to the largest public square in the world: Tiananmen Square. Next, stroll through the largest and the best preserved Imperial Palace in the world: the Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will take a short drive to the Temple of Heaven, which was built specifically for worship of heaven and prayers for good harvests during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Enjoy a Beijing Duck Dinner tonight.
Day 03: Beijing (B+L) After breakfast, drive about one hour to Badaling Great Wall, China's most spectacular sight extending more than 3,700 miles across China and most often visited for China tour. It is one of the best preserved sections and the highest point of the Great Wall. After lunch you also visit one of the Mind Tombs. Ming Tombs are the general names for the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), located 50 kilometers north from Beijing City. They were fully recognized by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee in 2000.
Day 04: Beijing - Urumqi (B+L) Continue to explore the ancient city including the Hutong Trishaw tour in the morning, and then to the exquisite Summer Palace, which was listed as UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage in 1998. With its elegant overall arrangement, magnificent buildings and attractive scenery, the Summer Palace is the most splendid imperial garden in China built in 1750.Take the afternoon flight to Urumqi. Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
Day 05: Urumqi (B+L) In the morning drive about 115km to Heavenly Lake (Tian Chi), which is renowned as one of the nicest tour destinations in all of China. Surrounding the Heavenly Lake are snow mountains, glacier forests and grassland alpine lakes, featuring a vertical natural landscape belt. Next, proceed to South Pasture, located at the base of the Tian Shan mountain range, where you could visit a local Kazakhs's family in yurt.
Day 06: Urumqi - Kashgar (B+L) Take the morning flight to Kashgar. At the western end of China's Silk Road, Kashgar has been the stopping-off point for travelers for at least 2,000 years. Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Then enjoy wandering the Kashgar Sunday Bazaar. Throughout the streets, tourists can find markets selling various daily- life goods.
Day 07: Kashgar - Urumqi (B+L) Today, you will tour the largest mosque in China - the Id Kah Mosque. Then pay a visit to Abakh Khoia Tomb (Tomb of Xiangfei), the most magnificent and well-preserved Islamic architectural complex in Xinjiang. After take return flight back to Urumqi. Arrive in Urumqi, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
Day 08: Urumqi-Shanghai (B) Take the morning flight to Shanghai, the largest and most prosperous metropolis in China and known as the "Paris of the East". Having arrived at noon, after a little freshen up, you will taking some tours includes the Bund, where the great foreign commercial houses and banks built their imposing office buildings before 1930s. Then stroll along the Nanjing Road, which is considered as one of the World's Seven Great Roads in the 1930s and always mentioned in travel guides as a must see of China tour.
Day 09: Shanghai (B+L) After breakfast, you will tour the elegant classic Chinese garden: the Yu Yuan Garden. Yu Yuan Garden has quite a few scenic courtyards dotted with baroque rockery, pools and flora, all connected by corridors and passageways and cultural relics. Then proceed to Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Finally take a walking tour of the Old French Concession, the area of Shanghai once occupied by French in the mid-19th century.
Day 10: Shanghai - TBA (B) The tour guide will transfer you to the airport and help you board the plane to your sweet home with unforgettable memories
