Day-To-Day Itinerary
Day 01: TBA - Beijing Upon arrival in Beijing, Our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. As the capital of China, Beijing has a long history with an abundance of historical and cultural heritage-you cannot tear yourself away! The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 02: Beijing (B+L+D) Start your Beijing exploration with first visit to the largest public square in the world: Tiananmen Square. Next, stroll through the largest and the best preserved Imperial Palace in the world: the Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will take a short drive to the Temple of Heaven, which was built specifically for worship of heaven and prayers for good harvests during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Enjoy a Beijing Duck Dinner tonight.
Day 03: Beijing (B+L) After breakfast, drive about one hour to Badaling Great Wall, China's most spectacular sight extending more than 3,700 miles across China and most often visited for China tour. It is one of the best preserved sections and the highest point of the Great Wall. After lunch you also visit one of the Mind Tombs. Ming Tombs are the general names for the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), located 50 kilometers north from Beijing City. They were fully recognized by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee in 2000.
Day 04: Beijing - Xian (B+L) Continue to explore the ancient city including the Hutong Trishaw tour in the morning, and then to the exquisite Summer Palace, which was listed as UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage in 1998. With its elegant overall arrangement, magnificent buildings and attractive scenery, the Summer Palace is the most splendid imperial garden in China built in 1750.Take the afternoon flight to Xian, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
Day 05: Xian (B+L) Enjoy a magnificent day of sightseeing what has been called the 8th Wonder of the World --the Terra Cotta Soldiers Museum, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Altogether over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and even weapons have been unearthed there. After lunch, visit the Bell Tower, which is the most well-preserved and best-known one in China and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China and initially built in 589.
Day 06: Xian (B+L) Today the first stop in this pleasant city is Shanxi Provincial Museum showing you more than 370,000 relics including Bronze wares, terra cotta figures, gold and silver wares and murals with three thousand years. And next is the Great Mosque. One of five Muslim sanctuaries in China, the Great Mosque in Xian is the only one open to visitors.Finally stroll along the Ancient City Wall considered as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Day 07 Xian - Chongqing (B+L+D) Take the morning flight to Chongqing, the largest and most populous of the Chinese four provincial-level municipalities with a history extends back at least 3,000 years. Upon arrival ,our local guide will meet you and escort you to explore some of the city wonders before you are transferred to the ship for your pre-boarding tonight: first to the Ciqikou Ancient Town, one of the key historic districts under conservation in the urban area of Chongqing. Next, pay a visit to Eling Park. It is an ideal place to enjoy views of the Yangtze River and Jialing Rivers and the night views of Chongqing.

Day 10: Yichang - Shanghai (B+L) Disembark ship in Yichang and take the afternoon flight to Shanghai, the largest and most prosperous metropolis in China and known as the "Paris of the East". Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 11: Shanghai (B+L) After breakfast, you will tour the elegant classic Chinese garden: the Yu Yuan Garden. Yu Yuan Garden has quite a few scenic courtyards dotted with baroque rockery, pools and flora, all connected by corridors and passageways and cultural relics. Then proceed to Oriental Pearl TV Tower. After lunch, you will visit the Bund, where the great foreign commercial houses and banks built their imposing office buildings before 1930s. If time permits, you will stroll along the crowded Nanjing Road.
Day 12: Shanghai -TBA (B) The tour guide will transfer you to the airport and help you board the plane to your sweet home with unforgettable memories. |
